Our origins
FLAMAGAS was born in 1959 when we started to manufacture and market metal lighters under the brand FLAMINAIRE. Since its foundation, FLAMAGAS became one of the first companies to offer this type of lighter to the spanish consumer. The FLAMINAIRE became the reference lighter in the 1960's.
At the end of the 60's a true revolution took place, with the foray of new high-performance plastic materials.
In 1971 Clipper was born, one of the world's first plastic lighters. Since then, Clipper has spread across the world, becoming the iconic fashion lighter among smokers.
